If he did that would be awsome. Just to know that God himself felt the way i do makes me assured that i can overcome.

When Jesus walked the earth he did it just the same as you and I do with the exception of more was expected of him and he held himself to a higher standard than most of us do.

I just read all the answers to your question and they all are very good. Jesus Christ is the Word of God. He is God. God loves us His children that He became man and suffered for us so we would not have to. So yes, He has feelings.

Some people out there think that Jesus while in the garden the day He was betrayed ask the Father because He was afraid to allow this cup to pass from Him. No, that not what Jesus was feeling at all.

While in the garden, Jesus knelt and prayed as He would not for Himself but for us. To show us His love. Anyone who has had a child or a close loved one die can in a very small way sympathize with Him.

As Our Lord knelt and prayed to the Father He Jesus Christ ask Him if there was some other way that He could not have to kill all of the children of God that would not accept Him as Kinsman Redeemer. This is probably hard for a lot of you out there who have not the knowledge of the Word of God.

Jesus felt the pain of the death of all His children that would die for not accepting the payment He was about to provide.

Can you just imagine for a moment the millions upon millions of people who will suffer the second death. This is what Jesus felt as He knelt there and prayed. With blood sweating from His pours the anguishing pain of grief came over His body. This same blood He would soon shed for us all will only cover the sins of those that accept Him.

Yes Jesus Christ the Son of God has emotions. He loves you doesn't He.><>

He cried;

Mark 10:47 - "And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

He became tired;

John 4:6 - "Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour"

He became hungry;

Matthew 4:2 - "After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry"

He ate;

Luk 6:4 - "how he went into the house of God, took and ate the showbread, and also gave some to those with him, which is not lawful for any but the priests to eat?”

Pretty much what you and I experience.

Of course he did -- he felt the full gamut of human emotions! He was God MADE MAN... in the Garden of Gethsemane he was afraid and didn't WANT to die! He asked that God pass that fate to someone else if it were His will! He was angry at the men who sold their goods in the temple and ruined the entire market place. He cried for his mother when she watched him dying on the cross...

The only difference was that Jesus WAS God ... he was pure and sinless. But he DID experience feelings and emotions. He just didn't let them get inthe way of being pure.

You should pick up a Bible, silly. :-) I'm not Christian and I know that.

Blessings and Light!

Jesus was fully human, including his emotions of anger and love. The church spent about 3 centuries debating this one. Jesus called himself the Son of Man. He came in 100% humanity so he could please God as a Son of Man who did not sin.
You are right - it is an awesome, inspiring, helpful thing.

Yes, there was even at one point that Jesus was so afraid he asked God to halt the crucifixion. He has all the emotions and fears just like us. I was afraid, happy, cold, hot, angry, sad and at times, lonely. He had to wrestle with the same emotions we do.

Of course. Jesus was human, why couldn't he feel everything humans do? Cold, tired, hungry, pain, "sin." Jesus would have HAD to feel the "sinful" feelings to overcome them. He would have had to know that it could be done.

He had all the feelings that everyone else did. It would be silly to come to Earth and not have them. I think Jesus just had more love for his fellow man than we do today.

Jesus was born man, a human being, and every human being has emotions, he just never used the bad ones.
