What, in your opinion, does modern society and culture need to adopt and abolish in order to progress? For example, I think that before our society and culture can progress, we need to totally get rid of things such as:
• Extreme (and wrong) views
• Ignorance
• Racism
• Animal cruelty
• Mindless following (like following a religion which enforces ridiculous rules and views - let people live and form their own views. Religion would be fine if all it did was to teach basic morals, but most religions encourage at least some forms of intolerance or ignorance.)
• Dis-beleif in science/proven facts in favour of idiotic beleifs (e.g. Magic, ghosts and spirits, luck, all other supertitions, etc)
• Any other barbaric traditions (hunting etc.)

Something I think we should aim towards doing is having a language in which we all can communitcate (not necessarily English, but that is beginning to happen already).

Anything else you think society need to do/not do? What are your opinions?

they only come across that way because their mentality is more of the collective. many asians do not prefer contfrontation and would rather agree for the collective sake. thats just their culture. as opposed to other cultures who are individualistic and would rather think of themsleves than the whole. plus, most except philipinos are buddhists.
kindess does not equal weakness.

I think Racism is caused by people that want to feel superior to others so they try to make fun of other people. Also some racist people can't think of anything to insult about a person so they make fun of there race instead. I beleive that racism causes people to feel unwelcome with some people of other races and it causes lots of fights.

What is your opinion of racism? Please include detail. This is for a society survey that I am completing. THANKS!!!

I mean nobody knows about muslims? They are huger then Cahtolisim and not far behind Chrisitanity. People at school don't know a lot about this great religion! Which I am. I just wanna know why some atheists on here continue to ask for proof. Someone said that they would've believed if they were there when Jesus were performing miracles, and would have believed if they could see the nail marks in his hands and feet. His own people didn't believe him, they saw it!!! Do you honestly think you would be one who did? The fact is if you don't WANT to believe in God, you won't. No matter what, God could come down talk to you, do some miracles FOR you, tell you how he did everything, show you more physical evidence, and you would still find a way to explain it as not being real. So why do you ask for proof?

Serious question actually...more than meets the eye...try to follow.

First, many Muslims immediately reject the claim he was a pedophile because they dont consider sex with children in the context of marriage to be pedophilia. So let me clairify what I mean by pedophilia...I mean any sex with children, by adults, whether in marriage or not.

Muslims get confused over the issue, so let me try to make it perfectly clear ---- I am asking why Allah would chose a man, who at 53, married and had sex with a child, to be the best example of conduct for all time when he could have chosen someone who didnt marry a child?

Unless you believe that the act of a 53yr old forcing a child into marriage, and having sex with the 9 year old, is indeed a GREAT act, not just tolerable but GREAT, then you must agree that Allah chose a less than ideal candidate, and because hes allah, he could have chose anyone.

is the screaming tunnel in ontario true???
There is a tunnel under the old railroad tracks just to the west of the Queen Elizabeth Way in Niagara Falls. It is known locally as the Screaming Tunnel. anyone that dares strike a match in the tunnel under the tracks will hear the agonized death screams of the burning girl, and a ghostly wind will instantly blow out the match.

I work in this office and I was sitting at my desk and as I turned around I caught my boss looking at my legs. Well, I caught him..but my question is when I caught him doing that he made like his eyes big..and kept this serious face. Is it a way to get out of being caught so he thought if he just made this face he would seem like it wasnt a big deal?? He has done it a couple of times since I caught him staring at me.
