they only come across that way because their mentality is more of the collective. many asians do not prefer contfrontation and would rather agree for the collective sake. thats just their culture. as opposed to other cultures who are individualistic and would rather think of themsleves than the whole. plus, most except philipinos are buddhists.
kindess does not equal weakness.

I do not think Asian women are submissive at all. Whilst my opinions don't stretch to all Asian women, it does apply to all the Asian women I have met in my lifetime. I think they can pretend to be submissive to get what they want, especially when the opposite sex are involved. Underneath that 'submissive' exterior they have been ruthless when it comes to getting into the hearts (and pants) of a man. This is not meant as a racist comment, but is based on personal experience. I have seen a few broken relationships caused by Asian women, including two attempts on my own husband - two different Korean women. I'm sure not all are like this but they don't always do themselves any favours. Again, please don't think this is a racist slur - I am just recounting my own personal experiences with Asian women.

i agree.... my wife is chinese and comes across that way but still has a mind of her own and is a wonderful human being!
i love the asian culture!

i want to fart on their faces!! most women are not submissive, but tend to use passive aggression as a means of getting even. be nice to your asian waitress, you'd never know what she put in your chow mein...
