The police came and didnt show any paper's just asked if my son was home and they went right into my bedroom and turned it up side down. He is paroled to this house, he sleeps on the couch so why did they search my room? because he was in there or what? All they found was a scale and some bullets but the bullet's were in my jewlery box and they have been in there for at least a year. I found them and just stuck them in there, i didnt know what to do with them so thats where they sat. The policeman kept sating give me the gun , there is no gun that goes to these bullet's ,well not here that is, i dont even know what kind if bullet's these are, all i know is that they are small. They are trying to give my son 7 years for these bullet's how can that happen? He didnt even know that they where there. I should have threw them away but i didnt want them to blow up in the trash or hurt someone with them. Tomarrow is Monday the 9th what can i do for him. I think this is bogus,HELP ME PLEASE...

I think it's wrong of them. Good parents should expose thier children to different beliefs and allow them to make their own choice. Many parents try to force their children to believe the same things as they do.
When they do this, they're not giving their children a chance to see what they really believe in. If the child won't believe in it when they find other beliefs, the parent's beliefs most likely aren't right for them.

Do you still find yourself still in the habit of exclaiming "damn it!" or "jesus christ!" or the like in stressful situations?

After over twenty years as an atheist I still do. I'm wondering if anybody gets out of the habit. If so, how important was it to you to break that habit?

just after the flood, the only people alive (namely noah and his family) would have been living near the middle east. the tower of babel supposedly didn't fall until over 100 years after the flood, and even then it's bit much to claim that people could've made it to china right away.

in any case, how could the chinese calendar have started 300 years before the flood and still survive today?? did noah's family keep the chinese calendar up to date in addition to their own jewish calendar??

also,,, who were the people who used to live in china before the flood? surely they could not be described as "chinese people" as true chinese people are descended from noah and therefore unrelated to these original inhabitants.

I've just bought some woodland, and we're in the process of building a small, eco-friendly log cabin right in the middle of the woods- it is going to be my first home when i leave college, it is small but has full amenities.

The woods back on to a road which takes you to the nearest town about five miles away. Where I am in the woods it is very quiet and peaceful, for all you know you could be 1000 miles away from the nearest other person. Heating is provided by a Rayburn multi-fuel.

So does seeking this isolation at the age of 21 make me slightly weird?

allowed to vote? I'm just curious because I was out canvassing with the local mayoral candidate and met some Jehovah's Witnesses, they were interested in what we had to say, but said they couldn't vote. Why not?
