Do you still find yourself still in the habit of exclaiming "damn it!" or "jesus christ!" or the like in stressful situations?

After over twenty years as an atheist I still do. I'm wondering if anybody gets out of the habit. If so, how important was it to you to break that habit?

It's a cultural thing. I've heard even born atheists and raised atheists cursing in religious terms, so I don't let it phase me in the slightest.

I don't really worry about it, I could say "holy bouncing buddha" or something, but it's just words. It doesn't really mean you want god to damn it, so what's the big deal.

Not to worry. We all do it from time to time.
It's become common venacular. With no more meaning than saying "sh it" or "fu ck".
