Well if you are a Muslim its the same God obviously!

If you are a christian then Mohammad is a false Prophet because Jesus said he was the last one.

Islam is anti christian saying that Christ only swooned on the cross and that Christians will go to hell and be judged by Jesus.

Allah is the Devil if you are a christian!

Both faiths believe that there is only one God, however Christians believe that the God is three beings in one, Father, Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Three are said to be co-equal and co-eternal, one in essence, nature, power, action, and will.

Muslims do not believe this, and claim that Jesus was just a human prophet with no claim to divinity. Muslims believe that the Christian belief in the Trinity is polytheism.

They don't, or they shouldn't: both, like the Jews, worship the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob.

To Christians, Jesus was the Messiah, was divine.
To Muslims, Jesus was another prophet, following on from Abraham, Moses etc and coming before the last & greatest prophet, Muhammad.
Wikipedia has a good article under "Abrahamic Religion"

Who is "God". Do you get to choose which God is which?

There was only one creator of this world. If you believe in a divine Jesus(pbuh) then you know he had nothing to do with creation, he was a creation himself.

God is Allah. Allah is G-d. G-d is all other religions main creator.

You can attach any beliefs you want to God, but he will always remain God and we are ALL worshipping the same God.

Non-Muslims say Allah in the Middle east and the word Allah is used in their bible.

I used Allah as a Muslim because the Qur'an is in arabic, no other reason.

I agree anyone who believes the abrahamic faiths do not share the same God need educate themselves. Stop being so obsessed with if God killed his son for some weird reason. IT DOESN'T MATTER!

Answer to below: What a bunch of crap. Do you even understand the argument of moon God? Do you think you are smarter than 1.5 billion people over 1400 centuries of time. Do you realize NO REAL CHRISTIAN/JEWISH SCHOLAR MAKES STUPID ARGUMENTS LIKE THAT BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY ARE WRONG?

It's the same God, if agreed that He is the One God, with no son, wife or partner. Maybe that's where "different" comes from. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God, or God Himself. Muslims don't.

Muslims believe that the same God communicated Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Don't believe in some of the ridiculous postings of a "Moon God". That's just plain fictional garbage, intended to push people away from the true message of Islam.

Muslims worship the God of Jesus, Christians worship Jesus

The core belief in Christianity is that God sent his son Jesus to die for the sins of man. The Muslims believe that Jesus was just a prophet of Allah. Therefore many Christians denounce that God is not Allah because Allah didn't have a son.

Yes you are correct in stating that both religions do believe in Jesus. The difference comes about in that in Islam we regard Jesus or as the Quraan calls him Essa (AS) as a Prophet of Allah, who was sent down to spread the word of Allah.

In Islam we believe that approximatley 124 000 Prophets were sent down at various times during history. Prophets like Moses, Abraham, Noah etc so we believe in all of them.

We also believe that the final messenger or Prophet was Mohommed (PBUH), therefore as each Prophet came down the people were told of the Prophet to come and were asked to follow him.

So the distinction is that we as muslims do not regard Jesus as the Son of God or God.

In Islam Allah (God) does not have the physical form of a human and as humans we cannot inflict or cause pain to him in anyway no matter what we do.

Because Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the Son of God, sent from heaven to die for us, to take all our sins upon himself, so that we can all be free. Muslims do not believe that Jesus left the Holy Spirit for us to freely access, so we can have an open and intimate relationship with God, our heavenly father. Because Muslims do not call Allah their daddy (abba).

The Jews also. I'm Christian and in my beliefs we are all three rooted by one God but at different points we seperated:

God made a pact with Abraham making the Jewish people his.
Abraham fathered Isaac (from which the Jewish line continued)
Abraham fathered Ishmael (from which comes Muhammed and the religion of Islam)
Christ was born of the Jewish line and eventually we get Christianity from his teachings.
