Anyone know anything fun to do on Halloween around Dayton, Ohio? My friends and I have no idea how to make our Halloween fun this year. Any haunted places or anything?

...what did you want to be after you graduated from high school?

Are you in that career now, and did you have any idea that you would be doing this type of job back then?

I can't help but think that these anti-drug commercials are not only stupid in the way it is presented but it is focusing on the wrong thing. Instead of targeting drugs like cocaine and crack, meth or heroin, they focus only on pot. Kids sit around, watch these commercials and laugh at them, they don't do a thing to prevent drug use. It focuses on a physically non-addictive substance and ignore the true killers out there.

It is argued that pot is a gateway drug, but no more then alcohol or cigarettes and I can't think of one person that tried a harder drug because they tried pot. I have known many people that tried pot and never touched another drug in their life, as well as people who never tried pot and shoved enoguh coke up their nose to build a mountain.

Do you think these commercials are focusing on the wrong issue? Do you think they should be discussing a stronger topic and why do you think they don't focus on the real killers?

tongues in the church is wrong, and that once saved always saved(no repentance of sin or need for 4giveness is necessary)AFTER initiial salvation,
and believe the words of Jesus in the bible that MANY WILL GO TO HELL AND FEW TO HEAVEN.....APPLIES TO THE CHURCH WORLD ITSELF AS WELL AS THE UNBELIEVER?
REVELATION 21:8........is to ALL....who fall in this catagory.

plz help! My friend Susan is Muslim and wears hijab. She likes a non Muslim guy and I think he likes her. Anywayz in Islam intimate relationships are forbidden (no kissing, going to night dances etc.) She can talk on the internet and meet with him in public and maybe double date. Here's my question; would you guys give up the physical part of the relationship for the mental part? There's so many girls...would u waste your time on a girl like her when u cant even kiss outside marriage? Btw, she is pretty, smart, funny, white, cool etc. Thanks! Sorry this is a lil off subject but just answer ASAP.

The idea that he had to rest prorves to me that man wrote the silly book , like all scams for profit. Another slice of realism. If your god knew that he was the one and only. Why have the first command say that thou shall have no other god but me. Was he insecure. NO those are words written by men, and xristians follow them like school children . Mother nature gives and nurtures life and will take it away, but she has something far greater then heaven instore for us. See you in the next level. Come that cerain date we will all rotate.

I live in Denmark, Europe, where religion plays next to no role in society. I sometimes read stories about atheists in the US who can't get jobs because they say they don't go to church at job interviews (even being ASKED if you go to church at a job interview in Denmark is unthinkable!) and being harassed for their belief (or lack thereof). I couldn't imagine myself living in a society where it was important to be a believer. I would hate it.

But, conversely, could you imagine living in a society where religion had no real place?

This started last week when we had our intrams and I watch her playing basketball and she was really good especially in getting ball from the other team, and from that they shes always in my mind...is this love or just an atrraction? I always want to see her and everytime I saw her I feel very happy, what does it mean? Is this bad? And how can I resist this feeling? PLs help bec, I'm in the state of confusion.....

I live in Denmark in Europe, and the church attendance here is 2.5%. In other words, 975 out of every 1000 people do not attend church. As a Dane myself, I can tell you that the Danes do not substitute churchgoing for other kinds of religious activity. I personally don't know a single person who prays. People simply aren't religious at all.

I have never once been asked what church I go to, how I worship or anything like that. I can get asked "are you religious?" which is almost an embarrasing question - because what if the guy you are asking IS religious? That would be really awkward - because it's generally assumed that you're not.

Referring to the Bible in any kind of spiritual way is almost guaranteed to create an awkward silence in conversation. if you claim that God created the world, that evolution didn't happen because the Bible says otherwise, or that Adam and Eve really existed will cause people to think you are, well, weird.

What is your opinion about all this?

She's asking this question on Yahoo Answers, about how we can uplift the self-esteem of girls in the world. But then she goes and hosts a show like America's Next Top Model. It really brings MY self-esteem down to watch that and listen to all the expectations that pretty girls should live up to. What do you think?

It is not about suicide, but about accepting death which has come to a loved one who had been suffering terribly. (my grandma)

Death is kind.
Like lover's wine,
Ever does it flow.

Life is cold.
Though worn and old,
We will not let it go.

Death is bliss.
Yet life we kiss --
We cling to what we know.

Come to me --
I will not flee.
Lay my fears below.
