We are all made of energy, and when we die, that energy escapes the body and sometimes it lingers behind for whatever reason. This is sometimes known as the soul or spirit of a person and this is what is also known as a ghost.
Sometimes we see into another dimension and are seeing life as it is happening and since we can walk right through the visions, we think it is a ghost, but is actually life in a parallel dimension.

If you want something scientific, then ghosts are just electromagnetic waves. Another theory is that everything has a frequency. your eyeballs or pupil has a frequency of about 18.9Hz, and if an infrasound (that we cannot hear because we have the capability to hear between 20Hz-20000Hz) with the same frequency is directed at our eyes, the waves move in phase, causing illusions and disturbances to what we see, which can be different to a cetain extent in individuals.

Since most of them are in human form. then they are the souls of people that have died suddenly and either don't know that their physical body is dead or they just don't want to admit it. the rest have some type of work left to do here before the can step into the light.
When the Physical body dies it loses a few micrograms of weght that cannot be acounted for . so the soul may be a buch of energy that weighs only a few micrograms.

Apart from being a figment of your imagination.Someone of the Spirit world. I'm not sure one should even put them in that catagory either. Spirits are or suppose to be a divine personality or an evil person.
The only ghost I know is Casper, And he wasn't such a bad person. But his uncles were a pain in the (oh so you no where).

Ghosts are real!!! I have had many encounters and let me tell you they are not aliens, they are not fake or demons from hell, they are actual spirits of the dead! I have had my cousin come to me after he died, it was in a dream! I freaked out when I woke up because my kids dad was standing in the door of our room and asked me if I was walking around in the kids room. My cousin told me things that were going to happen, he told me he was happy that the family was brought together after years of conflict, he told me he will be watching over my baby (that I had just had at that time). The things he told me did happen. And besides that I have had many encounters. And God does allow them to come and go from heaven! Blessings, Mare~

I think ghosts are the unsettled spirits. The ones who've lost their way, so to speak. They have unfinished business here on earth and they just can't let go. It might be silly, but I think the movie Ghost depicts the ghosts very well.....the unsettled ones I'm talking about. Just recently I've been watching that guy on t.v., shoot, I can't remember his name right now. But he speaks to people whom have passed away, and gives messages to their loved ones. I didn't used to believe in his methods, but he really amazes me when talking to the families. Do you know who I'm talking about.?

I think they are people who have not finished what they were doing before they passed over. or they could be the ghosts of those who are in comas and trying to find there self, some are angry so get out of there way, I don't think they are all dangerous

I believe they are probably bubbles from indigestion that affects ones sleep. If you tie a knot in the middle of a long towel and tie it around your waist, knot up, you will be forced to sleep on your back and will not have those gutwrenching dreams about ectoplasm and things that go bump in the night. BOO!

i havent heard of any theory that deals with the existence of ghosts...i believe in the theory of opposites...when there is good there is gonna be bad for sure. i am a firm believer of god..so there has to be a devil or negative energy as well that works opposite to good or positive energy.well i feel ghosts are merely related to the negative qualities ...and these qualities exists within each one of us as well.

Ghosts are not what people think they are. They are better described as "shades". It is possible to summon one and it is even more possible to have one sent, but the former damns your own soul. God has control of all the spirits and souls, and for their sake, I don't think he lets them leave their holding place much.
