Perhaps the WORD Rapture was not used until then to refer to the phenomenon, but the idea seems clearly there in the Bible, in I Thessalonians 4:16-17:

"For the Lord himself, with a cry of command, with the archangel's call and with the sound of God's trumpet, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever."

Apparently the consensus is that ring tailed lemurs and every other non-human animal don't have souls. Why would god shut them out of heaven just for being themselves?

It is quite distressing that most men would rather be a god than serve one. The "Luciferean" ego is present in all of mankind since satan implanted man with the false notion of attaining "godhood". The "Luciferean" ego has led to many false cults and theories such as satanism and evolution(more disguised).. The overwhelming lust for power has led men to deny God and become "god" themselves, O how grevious!!!!!! I pray for you, duck phup and the like!!!!!!

my daughters father is muslim and were going through our ups and downs right now and unsure of what were gonna do.But she has taken his last name and he's muslim.I have a son and we werent raised in there religion.I want my family to walk the same path.What do I do.He wants her to.His family wants us to get married and its been a consideration of ours but theres too much going on and too much has happened,so were sorting that out.But if we dont what do I do.

well i tell ya , the only thing that really makes sense to me at this point is that 55% of the bible is incorrectly written.
not many of us can read the actuall language!
it makes no sense for GOD and jesus to be the same being!
jesus wasnt crazy! he didnt pray to himself.
he even prayed and had blood sweat from him! he was so afraid to die. yet the father wanted him to do it and jesus wanted to do it to obey GOD and to save all of us fools!!
i know many other prophets existed in the old testament, others raised the dead etc too, but jesus is special!! i honestly think /believe him to be GODS son! he was with GOD from the beginning.
i can only feel that parts of our bible..king james is wrong.
one minute he says he is a servant and talks to the father, another time he is GOD.
PLEZZZ it makes me want to never read anything again!!
yet i ordered the recovery versian bible from www.biblesforamerica.org
lately all i do is torture myself! one day i think one thing and next!!

I saw this guy at the store yesterday and he was wearing the most repulsive shirt I have ever seen. It was a black shirt with brown writing that said "Brown Pride" with the r's being upside down pistols to form an r. How and why would anyone think of wearing that shirt?!!? If I wore a White Pride shirt then I would be considered racist right? Why the double standard for white people?

Just so I don't get reported:
I am not racist whatsoever. I take people on case by case basis. If a black guy is being an asshole then he is an asshole just like if a white guy was being an asshole.

We are humans before anything. Why do people want equality when they continue to separate themselves?

Any (sane) ideas are welcome.

I'm curious, is there a seperate heaven for flesh eating bacteria? How about the AIDs virus? The black plauge? Or are we all in the same one with dogs, cats, pigs, ring tailed lemurs, and intestinal parasites?
And how can something go to heaven if it lacks the capacity to think about accepting Jesus as its personal saviour?
