did you know that Bertrand Russell got it right?

in his biography russell wrote this,
first we had nazism, then we had communism, and now we have islam. all these 3 ideologies are hell bent on murdering people.

was russell right after all?

He was an atheist. Did he get that right? Nobody knows cause nobody's heard from him. Wait, that was Houdini.

He is correct in that each of these share a common theme and thread in history. However, no he is not right. Nazism is wrong and has been I won't go into that. Communism in it's purist form is actual a good form of government. there would be no greedy rich, no victimized poor, everyone would be happy in the same class. looking back their are some smaller cultures and societies that used a form of Communism successfully. what keeps it from working is the greedy rich wanting more power and money, and a government that no-one can trust 110%. Since a pure communism isn't possible, our democracy is the next best thing. As for Islam, like with any group, like the Nazi's, there are extremists. We tend to focus on those extremist even though they may represent only 5% or less of the population. may I remind you that these extremist would even kill there own to meet there objectives. which shows the just a few people are giving the whole religion a big black eye.

Islam seems such a mass of contradictions (not that we aren't a bit that way too). Muslims themselves have very different ideas on what Islam is. Nazism was defeated primarily by war, communism largely by confrontation, maybe there is a better way even to defeat violent Islamic extremism which does not involve an attack on 1.6 Muslims or a characterisation of their faith as murderous?
