"My boss is a Jewish carpenter". Yet some Christians get mad when Jesus is referred to as a Jew. Why?

I didn't say all Christians. I said some. The reason I asked this question - I have read many answers on here that deny that Jesus was a Jew. Some of them had nasty comments too.

I really don't believe that anyone died for me or that I crucified anyone as someone suggested.

Jesus was a Jew. Since when do Christians get mad about that? It's clearly and obviously supported and stated in the Bible.

Yes, I have seen it, and I love it. Alot of Christians get mad at this, in my opinion because they think that the Jews crusified Jesus, Which they did, but we all crusified Jesus. You, me, your gramma, my great uncle twice removed. A lot of Christians paint Jesus as a remade savior. They make him to be whatever they want him to be. Most think of Jesus as being a white male, but the truth of the matter, is that he had dark, olive colored skin, because he was from the middle east..ie. Jerusalem.

Hope my answer helped you in some way. Have a good day, and God bless ya! lol

I do not believe that Christians dismiss the fact that Jesus was a Jew! Sorry!

cuz they don't get the comment. published works are all subject to interpretation, bumper stickers included. it's really an affirmation to christians that they're "right" and the "jews" are misguided. we're saying, "HEY! JESUS WAS A JEW! WAKE UP JEWISH FAITH MEMBERS! JESUS CAME HERE! HE WAS THE TRUE SON OF GOD!" that's the way i take that statement anyway. i suppose it could be construed as saying that, since jesus was a jew, he was not the TRUE son of GOD, but i fail to see the pure logic in that one. anyway, that's my take. thanks for the points!!
