Apparently the consensus is that ring tailed lemurs and every other non-human animal don't have souls. Why would god shut them out of heaven just for being themselves?
Will he send his next son in the body of a ring tailed lemur to die for their sins?

Silly gel. Ring-tailed lemurs know better than to convert to anything except for Ring-tailed Lemurism. Seeing as you'll be ambling about on all four paws, you'll have twice as many soles as the dopey humans.

You have correctly identified an age-old difficulty between humans and ring-tailed lemurs. We can't understand their language and we therefore assume that they are unrepentant savages. Since we cannot read the history of their society, we assume that they are un-redeemed. Since we can't see into their minds, we cannot know their god.
I've seen them praying, but they won't do it if they think someone's watching.
