A LONG time ago as a young Marine, I was in uniform on a flight returning from deployment. On my mind was the image of a dog I saw guarding the dead body of what once was his owner. For some reason, even though there were a several other items far worse there, that darn dog stuck in my mind. Reaching over the seat in front of me was a little boy....not sure of his age, maybe 6-8 years old...he asked me what was wrong. I paused for a while, looked him right in the eyes and lied. Told him I had a stomach ache and smiled at him, then started asking him questions about where he was going to change the conversation which worked. He went on and on about the beach he went to. I have serious issues with lying to or harming children, but I couldn't say what I was really thinking to a little boy.

Do you think it was wrong to lie given these circumstances?
As a person trying to be a Christian, aren't I suppose to not lie?
I have conflicting feelings on this, and it's been many years ago

Can't we all just get along? I don't get it, its like people here are trying to be as condescending as possible and make everyone feel like an idiot. Why can't we accept eachother? That includes Christians who attack atheists too.

help me clear some doubts i hv in some verses.

22:47,32:5 says that allahs day is 1000yr but in 70:4 it says 50000yr?

39:73,41:30,57:21,79:41 say there's a garden of paradise but 18:31,22:23,35:33,78:32 it says gardens means many?

32:11,47:27 say angel will take the soul after death but 39:42 says allah will take the soul?

23:14 ignores the female egg which is equally imp?

18:86 says the sun sets in a muddy spring while its scientifically proven otherwise?

21:31,16:15,31:10 say mountains were made for protection against earthquakes but geology says movement of tectonic plates/earthquakes itself caused mountains to be formed,even if its so then y do so many earthquakes take place?

96:2 says man is made from clot of blood
21:30 says its water
15:26 says its clay
3:59 says dust
19:67 says its from nothing
11:61 says its earth
16:4 says sperm,so which one is it??

Im really confused as they appear totally contradictory.

Almost every time I ask somebody a question in class at school, they reply, "huh?" or "what?" not because they want to be smartasses, but I'm very quiet and mumble... and of couse its high school and everybody is loud during class. When people are capable of hearing me, I'll sometimes talk to fast and my words just collide with one another, I'll studder or something. On top of that, I think I have a lisp o_o but its mild. I'm reserved, and talking in front of class is just a train wreck for me because I go too fast.

What are some tips that can help me talk more precisely and louder besides going out and buying a loudspeaker? And is there any way to clear up a lisp (I'm in my mid teens if that matters)

I don't understand how so many people feel they are the experts and can say for sure that their way is the only way. Are you not judging others? Doesn't God tell us we should not judge? Why do you not have a greater tolerance for people who hold different views than you do? Isn't it God's job to do the judging?

I have always heard from Christians that they support Israel because the Jews are G-d’s chosen people.

Personally as a Jew is this answer disturbs me for several reasons but that’s not my question.

My question is how far dose that loyalty go? If Israel were to become a religious theocracy to the level that Iran or Saudi Arabia is would you still support it because its Jewish?

FACT: Abortion is a LEGAL and Safe Medical procedure in the United States of America. Meaning it is a LAW.

I have a ZERO Tolerance for Anti Choice people. They want to control people.

My Wife gets her abortion tomorrow morning. IT will cost about $450 but it will only last a few minutes. The fetus is removed, and we go home and live out life. We prefer to live our lives without christian extremsits interfering in it
