How to get a new Gas connection in Chennai.?

I have just moved to chennai and I do not have a rationcard with me,I just want to now how can I get a new Gas connection form govt/Private gas agencies.If there are any Private gas agencies contact nr,kindly inform.

get and application form. answer truthfully. submit application. wait for about two years before writing a follow up letter.
