If you truly believe in the bible and want to be god's 'favorite' why don't you follow his word? Shouldn't you be out beating and shooting the sunday workers to death or do you not believe the bible is aaaaaaaaaall god's word and use which verses you please, such as the lines about you having eternal joy and bla bla bla after death? If that is not relevant than why should the rest be? Time to start up the ovens and gas chambers?

most christians beleive that to have other gods,idol worship,taking the Lords name in vain,disobeying their parents,murder,adultry,stealing,lying about their neighbors,and coveting are sins.but when it comes to the fourth commandment they beleive it is not applicable.the only answers i will consider are the ones that do not contradict Mt 5:18,19,Mt 24:20, Ja 2:10,1Jn ,2:3-4, Rom 7:12,14, 1Tim 1:5,8, Rom 13:10,Rom 8:4. please notice i used only new testament scriptures to back up Gods Law. i could actually include about 100 more

i am a Christian and have a good faith in both God and Jesus, but what troubles me is with the story of Adam and Eve. i understand that God had to set some boundaries but i dont understand why the tree of knowledge was off limits, i was always led to believe that aquiring knowledge was a good thing and something that we're all encouraged to do? many thanks.

I don't know alot about hippie culture, I know I admire what I do know, how freely they live and whatever. But were there black hippies during the hippie movement in the 60s? I know hippies supported civil rights and everything but were there actually any black people who participated in the hippie movement? I hope I don't sound ignorant or anything because I'm a black woman and I really find this interesting.

Also, I know hippies today are called "neo-hippies" and I was wondering if any of y'all know any black neo-hippies or are a black neo-hippie yourself? Again, I hope I don't sound ignorant or anything. Thanks!

Atheist, I know how badly you want to tell me that God doesn't exist; please don't. Many of the rest of you I know that you want to tell me that God does answer prayer, but sometimes the answer is "no"; please don't. I am familiar with all the clichés. Christians like to use the cliche argument that there had to be a creator because if there is a watch, then there had to be a watchmaker. Things can't just come about and form on their own. They say the universe had to have a creator for this reason. The also say that the creator always was and had no beginning. Why didn't God have to have a God maker if everything has to have something that made it? The logic of this argument is ridiculous.

One day, a man was going to visit a church. This was his first time going to this churrch. he was wearing just a beige suit and acient sandals.

as he roamed the parking lot in his car he parked in a place in the middle of the lot. as he opened the door and walked out of the car, another man rolled dpwn his window and yelled "get out of MY parking spot!" so the man silently got back in his car and found another parking space.
he walked in the main door to the sanctuary.He sat down in an emty seat near the back.Another man walked up, "your sitting in my seat! move!" so the visiting man moved silently.
as the preacher went on to the prayers, the visitor stood up. the preacher looked up and asked.... "what are you doing" slowly the visitor stood up, hi hair grow to his shoulders and slowly and cloth strip appered over his waist, a crown of thorns and blood started dripping from his legs and hands, where the nails where placed and slowly the visitr said " I took your place"

I say yes, God has compassion and mercy on all, cause God knows nonbelievers, and anyone else all have the ability to change. There's a time for everything, don't wait to long, Revelation is on the way.
What do you nonbelievers think? If God gave you a sign, proof that he is real.... would you believe than?
