Whoever works, or even kindles a fire, on the Sabbath "shall be put to death." 35:2-3

If you truly believe in the bible and want to be god's 'favorite' why don't you follow his word? Shouldn't you be out beating and shooting the sunday workers to death or do you not believe the bible is aaaaaaaaaall god's word and use which verses you please, such as the lines about you having eternal joy and bla bla bla after death? If that is not relevant than why should the rest be? Time to start up the ovens and gas chambers?

Apparently bits and pieces of the Bible are invalid and worthless because they're in the wrong "part".

I'm a soldier and a cop.

Sinners don't take the Sabbath off.

Not much of a choice there.

Someone has to protect the faithful and the innocent from the monsters that walk the earth.

It would be a far greater sin to allow harm to come to others and I do observe the Sabbath.

I go to church (when I can) and pray every Sunday so I do observe the Sabbath.....even it is only in my heart.

And Jesus is mentioned by name in many other records besides the bible; like the Chronicles of Josephus and ancient Roman records that document His life, miracles, tortue and death so you wrong in every way, anti-Christ.

It takes a long time to study the whole Bible and understand how it all fits together. Those of you who keep putting the Bible and God down just because you are afraid they might be true, need to study it before you make silly statements like this. You just learn a few verses and want to judge all Christianity by those few verses.

Jesus came and said we don't have to follow Sabbath because. Back when the Isrealites were wondering they had to have manna. God sent manna down from heaven. And the were told not to take more than anyone could eat. They were not to save up manna caus they had to trust God would provide the next day . However Friday they had to for Saturday which is the sabbath.

But when Jesus came he was the living bread which we could partake of whenever we needed because of the cross.

hope that answers your questions.

i love u,

Sunday is the first day of the week, Saturday is the seventh and therefore the true Sabbath. Catholics changed it about 150 or 200 years ago.

First, I don't want to be God's favorite. I'm happy just being one of His children.

Secondly, I DO follow God's Law. But remember what Jesus said, "who among you would not pull your donkey from a well should it fall in on the Sabbath? The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath".

The old testament is the Law for sure - but we are under a new covenant - Jesus Christ. I follow Jesus Christ and His teachings. I'm not saying I don't believe the Bible - it's just that Christians have a new and better way - Jesus' Way.

it seems that most 'religious' types will pick and choose which bits of the story book should be applied to them.. Clearly 10 million people in the USA work on the "sabeth"... being that a lot of them are 'christians' i'd say that makes them a bunch of hypocrites.

Oh, please publish "Bible version two" where all the myths, miracles, hearsy, superstition and holy men have been omitted :-)

They all seem to worship some story book than an actual "god" ..

Exactly, the bible says alot of things that don't make sense, and anyone who says they follow it word for word is lying or just crazy.
