(oh boy, but you asked metaphorically, so get ready! lol),
My heart is somewhat black. It's stained with it and I could not wash it out myself, no matter how hard I tried.
My mind is smeared with grief. And my thoughts are bad, I can't deny.
Yet love from my Lord has shown me the way, to trust in Him, yea unto this day.
And my heart is lightened for He's to carry, the blackened heart, I grow so weary, (I'm going to die just for writing this!)
To Him goes the glory for His blood has washed it white.
And peace to me, comes quietly at night.
(It's okay to barf now!)

My heart has no color. It is clear like glass as it is all shards from being broken. It drips with the color of blood turning to maroon as it flows to my soul.I asked GOD to give me a new one and HE told me HE couldn't because I was chosen to bare the loss of love of a soldier who walks with pride and glory, one who sings of joy, light, peace and love. The one who can watch over me but not be with me for fear of the clinking of glass hearts entwined as one. Making a pane with light shining in and a dove in flight & delivering a single white rose to the clear heart. But never to mend as one cannot have what doesn't belong to them; even if one nearly dies from the clinking of the shards as they lay broken forever.

My heart is red. I know some people think red is an angry color, but it's a happy, vibrant color to me.

well my heart is kinda like a dark red. But my soul however is probably kinda white i guess that's how i have always imagined them. White lights.
