One day, a man was going to visit a church. This was his first time going to this churrch. he was wearing just a beige suit and acient sandals.

as he roamed the parking lot in his car he parked in a place in the middle of the lot. as he opened the door and walked out of the car, another man rolled dpwn his window and yelled "get out of MY parking spot!" so the man silently got back in his car and found another parking space.
he walked in the main door to the sanctuary. He sat down in an emty seat near the back.Another man walked up, "your sitting in my seat! move!" so the visiting man moved silently.
as the preacher went on to the prayers, the visitor stood up. the preacher looked up and asked.... "what are you doing" slowly the visitor stood up, hi hair grow to his shoulders and slowly and cloth strip appered over his waist, a crown of thorns and blood started dripping from his legs and hands, where the nails where placed and slowly the visitr said " I took your place"

Wow. How powerful!

Should make all of all want to be just that much more careful how we treat strangers.

Thanks for posting!

What??? I ask that you don't post stupid stuff like that again. Yeah random Christians walk up and yell at people to get out of their parking spots and their seats. Do you know how many people have sat where I sit in church or someone elses and we didn't make a fuss about it we just moved on. Stop attacking the church. The church is like the government it doesn't really have any power without the people.

Hebrews 13:2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

That resonates on so many levels.

One level: Christ humbled himself and stepped aside twice (turn the other cheek), due to the urging of a prideful man who was not worthy to touch the hem of his robe.

Another level: "Whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren, you do to me."

Yet another level: Though the man didn't earn it, like none of us do, Jesus took that man's place on the cross and was punished for that man's sins--and all people's.

I love God too.

SO TRUE, SO TRUE!
Jesus said when you go somewhere. Sit at the end of the table, not the head of the table. Unless someone of more importance comes along, and we get embarrased when the host asks us to move.
BE HUMBLE!

Classic contrived mythological story that appeals to our ego's desire for a redemptive savior that contrasts the ego's thought system.
