She keeps on trying to get me to come to her church. I am a Wiccan so I told her no. She keeps on asking me everyday, and she starts saying things like "But God loves you!" and "You can have two religions!". I try to just ignore her comments. I have tried to stop talking to her, but she keeps on coming up to me. I can't politely tell her to go away because she won't listen (i've already tried that). I don't want to be mean because hurting her feelings , to me, is a breach of the Rede (An it harm none do what ye will). What should I do? Is she trying to convert me?

I'm sure you are familiar with the term "drive-by shooting". There are innocent victims of these shootings all the time.

Think about it....a gang member drives down the street and shoots into a house and a random bullet richochets and changes directions. At that EXACT second, a 4 year old child runs accross the room to get a toy and the bullet strikes and kills him.

Had the child or the shooter started 1 second sooner or later then the results would have been different and the child wouldn't have been shot.

If God knew IN ADVANCE that this child was going to die from a stray bullet, on that day, at that particular second in time......

.....then how could that child or that shooter have made a DIFFERENT choice????

Could they make a different choice than the choice god knew they would make?????

I'll admit it, I'm in a bad mood. Some jacka** on this website really riled me up today and I'm probably suffering from a bit of PMS. That being said, I'd like to toss something out there and would really appreciate feedback from intelligent people (intelligent meaning an I.Q. of at least 110 or 120 -- the higher the better).

What is happening to America?

I just took a look around and realized that the majority of the people in this country are seriously lacking brain power (as is evidenced by many of the Q & A's on this website).

Is it just me, or is the intelligence of our society rapidly declining? People just seem all too willing to run their mouths off in support of idiotic ideals and when you call them on it, they have absolutely no good answers to give you.

So... do you think the idiots of the world are just breeding faster than those of us with higher intelligence or is there something in the air?

Okay, I've asked a couple questions recently asking Creationists to explain what, exactly, they didn't believe happened that evolutionists believe did. Most were either unable or unwilling to do so, but - in addition to people castigating me for being "superior" and "arrogant" and "condescending" - I did get some cogent answers, some of which really came close and one or two that actually taught me a thing or two. (Contrary to popular belief, I was not trying to be a wiseass, but trying to understand how rational thinking people could dismiss something that makes so much sense to me).

So, in the spirit of furthering my understand, would those of you who understand evolution (meaning that if you wonder why there are still monkeys, you do not qualify) and believe in Creationism, would you please explain to me what made you come to that conclusion?

These primitave people have been living perfectly happy, healthy & moral lives within the context of their society for 1000s of years.
Evangelists arrive & their society degenerates, their morals decline & they all die off within a few years. And of course, the evangelists are left with their lands.

One year, I was a Japanese woman wearing a kimono from Japan & chopsticks in my hair bun w/ a kabuki white face.
My teacher in elementary school was dressed as a California raisin wearing a big black trash bag filled w/ papers creating a wrinkley affect as a dried grape. It was a cheap and creative costume.

im a 24 male living with my husband thats 36 yrs old. We love each other and have been going to church together for many years.

3 years ago I invited the lord Jesus Christ in to my life and he accepted me the way I am and hes ok with my lifestyle. He lets me know that it is how I was born and he loves me for finding my identity. I am a saved gay christian and I want all Gay people out there to know that God Loves you and you can be saved even if you are gay because it is a lifestyle that God has pre planned for us.

My husband and I will adopt a child this year. We already started the paperwork. We are so happy and with The lords blessings our relationship has gone stronger. Praise Jesus

My husbands got to wake up early tomorrow so we have to go to bed in 1 hour so God Bless you all and may jesus enter everyones heart.

OK... I'm straight but there's this girl in my class who I'll call...Mandy.
Mandy is REALLY popular, is the vice class prez... Me? Not so much. We have a lot of things in common but we're not really friends yet. Anyway, since like earlier this year, I catch her looking at me and she'll look away. She also laughs too hard at all my jokes and their not even rly that funny. She also finds weird ways to talk to me. Like she SAW me shove one of my books in my bag, but then 2 seconds later comes up to me and is like "Hey, is this your book?" and i'm like...uh...no.
She hates my group of friends and she's only nice to me. I sometimes catch her staring at me in lunch but idk why...and I was wearing this cute dress last wk and I just happened to look up and she was like giving me this weird look and i couldn't tell if it was disdain or something else?

If you're one of the people constantly bashing those who are against illegal immigration, tell me this...

1. Do you think it's okay to break the law? If so, should I not have to pay a speeding ticket or a parking ticket if I get one? Should I be able to steal witout fear of repercussion? Should murderers and rapists be allowed to break the law without paying the consequences?

2. Why are you so angry with the Americans who are against the violation of an important law?

3. Can you honestly say that illegal immigration doesn't hurt legal American citizens in any way, shape or form?

4. Can you honestly say that illegal immigration has not contributed to increased rate of identity theft?

5. Do you think compassion should supercede the law?

6. Why do so many in favor of illegal immigration throw the "race card" towards those who oppose it and if you are one of these people, since when did the supporting the law have anything to do with being a racist?

k the deal is that I'm not aloud to date for a year (by my moms ruling) because last year I dated a guy, dumped him and he turned creepy stalker guy on me. but a few months after we broke up my best guy friend asked me out and I had to tell him that rule so he asked if I'd mind if he waits for me, so he's been waiting for me for about a year now and we've grown really close and he's my absolute best friend, we share everything and anything, it's been going well but..... sometimes we tickle each other and hug is that going to far out of my parents rules? it's only when something really bad happens or if one of us does something that the other appreciats.... I know that a reltionship done by disobeying my parents too much is doomed to be a bad situation, but on the other hand he's a christain too, he understands the rules and is trying to obey them,... if it wasnt for the fact that he's waiting for me I'm pretty sure it would seem we're just normal friends but I wonder if this is too far
