And if Jesus wanted to destroy all life on the planet but save just a few animals and humans on the Ark...why did he use such an elaborate, long-term plan for the destruction. It only took 6 days to create the entire Universe but it takes months and months to clean-up Earth, how can that be?

As a gay guy, i love to have children sometimes, I think i would be a great father for the first, and being in a steady relationship for the last two and a half years, (my previous one was for 5 years, and i am still friend with my ex) i think i can say im pretty well settled down, im 31, have a steady job as an architect and am a responsible person. What do we feel about two guys / or girls raising kids for that matter.

I have some lesbian friends, maybe raising the kids together, so that the child get both a female and a male role-model? what do you think?

Looking at some parents you see on television today etc, that doesn't seam at all very good parents, i am just thinking that we - as a responsible couple could surely do a better job.

I dont have a problem with adopting neither,as their are many kids out there in the world that have horrendous upbringings or no parents at all.I think we could provide them with a warm and loving home that can provide protection and good values.

Since watching My Name is Earl, I've suddenly found myself talking about karma alot more, and somewhat living by it. Do you believe in karma?

RELIGION, when they don't believe in it? WHY would ANYONE "waste" their time commenting on a subject they do not even believe in? I know that neither I nor most of you would not bother answering or reading questions about "fairies or leprechauns etc...

After listening to Abu Izzadeen's recent interview on BBC Radio 4, it reminded me of my days while working at a bank's call centre.

Our bank had 2 different current account one called "Current Account Plus" and other called "Current Account". The difference being Current Account Plus offered 0.1% while Current Account offered NO interest whatsoever, which was specially designed we're told for tax purposes along with any individual's religious reason.

I never ponder much about the reasons behind it, but listening to Abu Izzadeen's views on British society on BBC Radio 4, I wonder how exactly do Muslims justify the requirement of "Current Account" since their faith DOES NOT allow them to have "interest" on their money, as it's seen as "haram". If such is the case, then how exacly do they justify claiming/getting social security benefits, such as job-seekers allowance, tax credit, disability benefit, etc.

What's with people saying that they are "catholic" or "christian" when they don't even follow or even read the bible?
Isn't it stupid to say you are "christian" because ur parents are, u went to church as a kid, and cause u don't HATE jesus?

For example, why does Katie Holmes think it was a hard decision having to have "converted" to scientoloy from catholicism, when she obviously wasn't living the catholic life? She shacked up with that chris klein for a while (obviously not a catholic virign), and committed other "Hollywood" sins

Dearest,
What do you think about a Missionary Movement for Christian Youth that could include all denomination namely protestant and catholic?
The objective should be
– Evangelization,
– Professional training for job facility,
– Human right advocacy for,
This movement will be lead by the youth themselves not by a priest or pastor but they will assist the staff. To make this happened what I should do first? What advice do you have for me in order to make this possible in the name of Jesus?
Your point of view is highly needed

don't all of us believe in HIM? This is my first look at the Yahoo answers/ Religion questions. Wow. I was expecting a much more professional forum. I had no idea that people could be so outwardly blasphemous and so many of you too! I will pray for all of us. THINK ABOUT THIS.....Can anyone CREATE a Chromosone, a Gene, an Atom, a Star, a Planet, a Solar System, a Galaxy, the Milky Way, an Ocean, a Seed, Hearing, Sight, Taste, ETC.....?
