RELIGION, when they don't believe in it? WHY would ANYONE "waste" their time commenting on a subject they do not even believe in? I know that neither I nor most of you would not bother answering or reading questions about "fairies or leprechauns etc...

I think in a way the non believers are looking for an answer that will change their mind. If not they wouldn't spend so much time on the religion/spirituality sight. It must be lonely to believe in nothing and no afterlife. Sometimes I think they're just trying to get negative answers so they can blast us. I hope that maybe they learn something.

Have you noticed that you don't actually have to be IN one of the topics to answer a question? The last few Religion and Spirituality questions I have answered, I've followed the link from the main page. And the only reason I clicked them was because they related to something that had to do with me, for example "Why do athiests believe in evolution?" and the like. Hence, I answered. I would also answer any questions I found interesting, and that maybe even argued a VALID point.

And I would answer questions on " "fairies or leprechauns etc..." if I found the question interesting.

Well surely they have a right too. Religion affects everyone whether they believe or not. Most wars were caused by religion, the world we live in now is HUGELY affected by terrorists who do it in the name of religion.

Even thought they dont follow a religious faith, it's a part of everyone's lives at the minute. Surely with the religous fanatics you can understand why it's a topic of interest. I'm sure you would like to know why these horrible people do these things so imagine how confusing it is for people who dont believe in anything at all.

There are other religions besides Christianity which is why you also find Wiccan, Muslims and people who live their lives with their self-made religion or beliefs.

Devout Christians don't answer or read questions about fairies or leprecauns (which btw is a religion or belief system in it's own right) because a lot of them have the misconception that this is all about devil-worship, and anyway they want to spend their time building their faith or converting others instead of exploring other ideas. It is hard for them to explore other beliefs when they think they are in the devil's hands or heading for eternal damnation which is why they usually only stick to Christian topics.

ISN'T IT INTERESTING that there are so many so-called believers posting questions under the topic of..
RELIGION, when they should be in church praying for forgiveness for their daily struggle with alcohol, drugs, sexuality, homophobia, swearing, cussing and abuse? WHY would ANYONE "waste" their time posting questions on a subject they so strongly believe and trust in? I know that neither I nor most of you would bother posting questions about something we TRULY believe in, as we wouldn't need to question what we know to be true...

Religions retard my society's scientific and moral progress. Leprechauns and fairies do not.

Atheists don't have TV stations or go around and knock on peoples doors to tell them what they believe. If we were to just set back and not let our beliefs be known, then theists would just go by what their herders and holy texts say that we are and think. Things similar to this..

Psalms 14:1 - The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Which is a lie.

As an Ex-Christian i also know a great deal about Christianity. I know what the feeling is like to have your mind in shackles, and anything i can do or say to help someone break their shackles is a benefit to humanity.

"The man who does not do his own thinking is a slave, and is a traitor to himself and to his fellow-men." [Robert G. Ingersoll, "The Liberty of Man, Woman and Child" 1877]

Maybe you would if leprechaun believers were trying to force "leprechaun science" in the class rooms, and trying to force your children to believe in "leprechaun history". Besides the reason it seems like their are so few believers on here is most of them are off downloading porn. If only get one person ( as a result of reading arguments on here ) avoids joining the Christian Taliban it will be worth it.

Actually, this forum isn't just about religion it is also about spirituality, and some people don't believe in religion. Some people just believe in themselves. And there should wrong with them asking. I think some are just doubting thomas's who are waiting for real proof that God exsist not quotes or speculation. Why do you come here. If you know that you are going to be heckled if it bothers you so much maybe you should cool down before trying to write about God and the purpose of life.

Just because you consider us 'non-believers' many of us believe very much in something spiritual. You are lumping people into an 'either/or' category and people are much more complicated than that. I suggest a comparative religions course for you, to educate youself about all the different beliefs. Or do you enjoy your ignorance and arrogance too much to part with it?

God is a fairy tale. Its fascinating that grown people can lead lives of delusion and false information and be so righteous about it. Its more interesting that all the Christians on this site spend all their time obsessing over and asking about what the evolutionists are doing or thinking instead of spreading God's word or whatever crap your supposed to be doing.

Are you aware its called Religion and spiritual section? Hmmm maybe some answer questions in this section or post questions in this section cause they are defending their rights to believe in what they want too. When are you going to learn that your religion is not the only religion. Anyone is welcome to answer questions in any section. If that was the case then why are there so many Christians who come in the other sections on here and still push their religion on others when its unwanted? Maybe they are tried of having people push their religion on them in here so they stand up for their rights and their self. Maybe it's too clear up all the miss information about people/religion or lack of religion for that matter.
Why does so many chiristans on here post questions like " For all the non-believers out there" or " for all the Atheist out there"?
Get a life there are more then one religion and people can believe in what they want too.
