I am so resilient that although I live in Gulfport, Mississippi which was dealt a severe 'blow' by Hurricane Katrina, I am happy and hopeful about life. And so are most of the people in my community. We know what it is like to have real problems and so we don't let the little things get us down.

My attitude changed after 9/11 when I realized Americans are soft and I set out to correct that in myself.

what I have a hard time recovering from is the fact that way more children die each month from not having clean drinking water and that being something we could correct in a decade but we let some act of hate by a few turn the world into a more violent place and give them reason to know their tactics work meanwhile we fail to give even veterans adequate healthcare. What I am having a hard time with is what complete idiots wa are being frightened so the right wing can steal us blind are we stupid or what. Those people over there have been feuding since Sarah out of jealousy forced abraham to kick out Haga r and Ishmael and we took sides, we deserved what we got for being so stupid God does not need our help to preserve the Jewish nation. We let the Jews gain a strog lobbyEtc. Etc and we should have seen it coming cuz of our policies. We give the zionests & billion a yearand theyare a prosperous nation with good healthcare for it's citezens sorry about the poor spelling.

A bit tired of hearing about it, but other than that I see it as having no effect on my life at all.

I'm sad that those in power have used it to spread fear and justify the murder of thousands of innocent people around the world, but that is beyond my control.

Actually I am probably less fearful now than I was before. These events have actually caused me to do some research. If one checks the stats at the center for disease control you find that terrorism is not really much of a danger. It ranks so far down on the list that even going to visit your doctor is considered a far bigger risk to your survival than terrorists.

All and all I would say that it has helped me put some of the propaganda that is made up to sway public opinion into perspective, and see it as the nonsense that it is.

9/11 is just another day to me. I occasionally wonder why so many people consider it significant or worth remembering.

Anyone who seriously believes the US is any "safer" today than it was on 9/11/01 is either delusioal or a moron.

The government cannot possibly protect everyone and anyone who expects the government to protect him is going to be real disappointed.

I can still remember it as if it's just happened a moment ago. I'm allot more honest with me feelings now. Not towards others, but to myself.

I do think the U.S. is doing a good job of keeping us as safe as possible in the aftermath
The President has done a good job in spite of the liberals who fight him every steps of the way. According to the liberals we are tuturing detainees if we don't allow them to get 8 hours of sleep.

Let's see what happens if THEIR families are attacked./

Let's hope the President continues in the path he is taking us and maube they won't have to find out

I wasn't there. I'm not going to turn someone elses tragedy into a personal tragedy no matter how horrified I was at the events of that day.

You sound like a drama queen, get over it

The memories are always in my mind but I feel the US is safer today than we were 5 years ago. It showed me that no one is safe from these murderous people. I am proud to be an American and very proud and thankful of our troops who are fighting to keep us safe.
