They didn't have dirty jokes when they created their religions and by reading most books and texts they didn't seem to have much of a sense of humor. So if you go back in time and ask them they will probably say "whats an sms"

It is not spiritually profitable to do so. What we read is implanted in our minds and becomes a part of our personality. Our personality is our spirituality expressed outwardly. It is better to read good things like the Bible or Bible commentaries or good books that inspire us to seek a deeper faith and work a deeper good for God. You will not go to hell for reading dirty jokes, but you will be held accountable before God as to how you spent your time on earth.

All things are lawful unto me means I am no longer under the law. But the main reason we are alive is to glorify God. Can you in good faith do that and feel OK with glorifying God. If so, then you're all right. But don't kid yourself, if you trust Jesus as Savior, He'll lead you to ultimately do the right thing.

depends on your religion. Some religion embraces sexuality and don't care about sex as a sin. Chrisitianity treats sex and sex related theme as strictly between married couple. to a healthy degree, it's ok. u know "romantic" MA 15 messages between spouses. Nothing too obscene though.
