OK... I'm straight but there's this girl in my class who I'll call...Mandy.
Mandy is REALLY popular, is the vice class prez... Me? Not so much. We have a lot of things in common but we're not really friends yet. Anyway, since like earlier this year, I catch her looking at me and she'll look away. She also laughs too hard at all my jokes and their not even rly that funny. She also finds weird ways to talk to me. Like she SAW me shove one of my books in my bag, but then 2 seconds later comes up to me and is like "Hey, is this your book?" and i'm like...uh...no.
She hates my group of friends and she's only nice to me. I sometimes catch her staring at me in lunch but idk why...and I was wearing this cute dress last wk and I just happened to look up and she was like giving me this weird look and i couldn't tell if it was disdain or something else?
What do you guys think?!

Hm. Well, from the description you gave, she could like you.. then again she might not either. Maybe your reading too much into it? Once a person has their mind fixated on something, they read too much into small signs. Maybe she really doesn't like your friends, but is nice to you because your cooler? Maybe she just likes your cute dress? It could be anything. You really can't know for sure just by those signs. But if you really think she's checking into, maybe you can become friends with her, and ask her? :) The question is, do you want to know? And.. Do you want her to like you?
I know this is no help to you whatsoever.. But no other answer here can be help. We can only provide interpretations based on the little info you gave us. I look at pretty girls all the time. I love to look at good looking people. It doesn't mean I like them. Maybe you're just eye candy. Sometimes if I like someone's make-up, I'll just keep looking at it to try to figure out how to do it on myself. If I get caught, maybe they think the same thing about me, that you're thinking about this girl.

she just might think you're really really pretty.
but ..there are actually a lot of lesbians at my school too..and i've had 2 lesbians like me before..and you can kinda tell. like i just met this girl, and she invited me over to her house the FIRST day i met her..and she was all nervous when she asked me. then like after a week of knowing her, she admited that she was a lesbian and that she really really liked me.
its a really weird situation, especially if you're not a lesbian.

It does sound like something is going on..but then again it could be that she wants you to be a close friend of hers..and she also is shelfish I think because she don't like none of the girls you be with..hmm then it could be the other way around.."Lesbian action" she wants you all to herself..

Could be but it could just be nothing more then friends or something else. Some people are just naturally weired like that. Just like the pervert who posted LESBO action tape it and send it to him. LOL
If you are not into girls like that then I would not even worry about it unless she approaches you about it.

well if u say shes not really ur friend try to be friend with her she probely likes you as a friend the only way to find out if shes a lesbian then ask her if she has a boyfreind or somthing!!

It sounds like she does LIKE LIKE you. Has she ever had any g/f before? I don't think she is jealous of you, if she was then she would be mean to you.
