One year, I was a Japanese woman wearing a kimono from Japan & chopsticks in my hair bun w/ a kabuki white face.
My teacher in elementary school was dressed as a California raisin wearing a big black trash bag filled w/ papers creating a wrinkley affect as a dried grape. It was a cheap and creative costume.

One year we got several people together and went as the "Fruit of the Loom gang". We made our costumes and won several costume contests!

This year my daughter's class is visiting the apple orchard on the 31st---costume changing with be a quickie at home ---- pirate this year. Last year, I wore my sari, this whole outfit. Oh my 6 year old already has her "witch outfit". Including, orange and black striped cotton tights. Really cool stuff.

Eno from Naruto, as demanded by my kids. My son will be Sasuke and my daughter Sakura. They love anime. Last year we did One Piece as Sanji, Nami and Robin. I love Haloween, it makes ME feel like a kid again (and making the costumes is a lot of fun too.
