Considering the fact that they live together for months on end without having any relationships with women. Any answers? Any thoughts or opinions? The reason for asking, I saw a movie involving a gay mormon and it made me wonder. Hence, the question.

Sadly, I know exactly which film you watched. My husband is a return missionary and read the title of the film and thought it would be good. We shut it off immediately when we realized what it was. No, a true, active Mormon does not engage in homosexual actions. If they do, they are no longer Mormon and are ex-comunicated from the church. Only Mormon Missionaries live together as companions (and they alternate every few weeks or months) for 2 years while they serve a mission for the Lord. These young men and women are prepared and are led by Heavenly Father.

well i think i can answer this question...and the answer is no...i think what you're think about are missonaries that live together for a few months and then rotate through...I think the gay mormon thing was probably a spoof...there are no gay mormons and if they are they stay in the closet about it for the rest of their life....a mormon's belief is that man and woman were put on earth to get married and have kids...so if someone is gay they are excommunicated from the church...it is very possible that they engage in homosexualy activity but also highly unlikely...

I am sure there are people in every religion who practice homosexual activities. No one is perfect.
IF a mormon missionary (whom I think you are referring to) or any other mormon admitted to homosexual acts or whatever, there would be certain action that would have to be taken to either excommunicate them from the church or for the steps of their repentance if that is what they wanted to do.

i actually know 2 gay mormons-they r not together-one female and one male. they have many problems explaining how they feel when it comes in conflict with their faiths, but many faiths r against it. being in a certain faith dosent change what or who ur attracted to. Do u think the pope has never been attracted to anyone? course, then agian-the pope gets to have sex with god-how can u turn that down? lol

If religion had any effect on sexual preference there would be no gays of any Christian faith, they all condemn them. There would also be no child molesting clergy, no adulterous spouses, and no failed marriages. People are people, some good, some bad, some in between, how you pray results from who you are, not vice versa.

Like any followers of a religion where they're not "supposed" to, sure it probably occurs from time to time, but I'm sure they go through a lot of personal guilt over it when it does happen.
