i dont want to offend her or anything. we have been chatting, we both go to different universities. i asked her if she wants to maybe go out, she said ya. i mostly dont want my parents to find out shes ts. I dunno if it makes me gay or not, but i know how my parents will feel. currently i live with them still til done with college, but either way last people i'd wanna lose is them. I know they wont accept her, because i once dated a girl that was black and my dad was pissed, but he didnt know we were dating i some how played it off that we were just "friends"

I need some ideas for a halloween costume? I want some thing that will be funny and interesting. I need a group costume idea. I have four people that all want to dress up as something that goes together. We need it to be for 4 people (3 girls, 1 guy). Dont worry about it being a guy costume or girl costume. The guy can and will dress up like a girl if the group is all girls or vice versa. Any ideas... Tell me what you got??? Thanks

Belief correctly defined is the acceptance as truth/reality things which defy/lack logical/factual evidence, proof or support.

I find this rational decision to not jump to conclusions is by no means a belief. Apperently it makes them feel better to think they have all the answers, regardless if their wrong.

I fully support volition/free will there is no intent to sway your decision i merely seek an understanding as to why someone would choose this alleged irrationality.

Having fun for me is going to an old cemetery, dressing up and takeing pictures, have a picnic, but no one else in my area is like this. I live in the South (originally from the northeast) and can't seem to find any one with this same interest.

Does anyone have any insight as to this? In short, it is a "church" that basically a chuch that preaches only liberalism. The acceptance of all religions. Pagans can worship next to Christians who can worship next to wiccans who can worship next to athiests or whatever. They claim to have Judeo-Christian roots, but really shy away from preaching anything Christian. As a matter of fact, when I sat in on a "service" they seems to bash the concepts within Christianity.

My ex-wife started taking my kids to this Church and I severely have my doubts whether this is a good thing for an 11 and 7 year old to be exposed to. If they were adults, with minds of their own, fine. But I do not think I want them exposed to the teachings of wiccanism or the thinking that things like that are OK (other than the fact that everyone has the right as adults to worship whatever they choose)...

What is your response to a person that does this?

Personally, it grieves me.
It makes me sick to my stomach.

Given some don't believe in God, why would a person make such cutting and disrespectful remarks, period ?

Are they unhappy with themselves?
Are they unappreciative of thier existance?
