hot and humid during the summer. i went to basic training at Lackland AFB San Antonio Tx from jul 1985- sep 1985, it was hot and i did not like it very much. basic was easy it was the heat that got all of us.

Life isn't too bad here, I was born in Abilene but raised in SA right after my birth. I have no complaints as long as you can get past the heat and humidity you will be fine. Of course we really don't have a winter around here and spring goes into summer pretty quickly and does last a long time. There are beautiful areas to see around town and also in the Hill Country are. I enjoy it, but you will never know if you'll like it until you come visit.
