i would do everything in my power, why would you take the blame for someone else or allow someone to believe you capable of such a thing. this is your character do you wish to be known for something you may not have done? would it affect kids? don't let people walk over the top of you, you do what is right for you because if it were anyone else you can be sure that they will save their skin

It depends on how serious the charge was. If i was accused of murder or something equally heinous that could jeopardize my family/freedom, then of course I would go to great lengths to prove my innocence.
Barring that, I wouldn't go to a lot of trouble proving that I didn't do something. It would be enough for me to know the truth in my heart.

I wouldn't do anything. The fact i know i didn't do it is enough for me i was falsely excused by a family member of blackmail which some choose to except i did i know i didn't so my conscience is clear. I'm actually grateful for what was said because i trusted those people and they proved they were not to be so in the end they actually did me a favor

I wouldn't go far. If I knew that I didn't do it I shouldn't have to prove myself to anyone. If someone makes you prove it than maybe it's time to look for some new friends...ect. You listen to yourself and no one else should matter on the matter

Actually you don't need to do anything. If you are innocent, you've got nothing to prove. The burden of proof lies with the accuser. Good luck!

Only as far as necessary- it depends on the situation and who is accusing. I would have to consider the source and the severity of the accusation.
