Fear breeds contempt. It is easier for some to be ignorant than educated.

Unfortunatly a lot of people think of witches as evil, that is how they are portrayed. Of course a real witch knows about good and evil.
And then there are those goof balls who watched the movie craft and they were like "OH MY GOD I want to do that!!!" I pity them. But in any religion you shouldn't judge the others....

little story some believe it some don't.............a girl i know was heavily into what I perceived as witch craft. Now I will be the first to say I don't know much about it so I'm not trying to say I am a source of knowledge on it. But she told me one night when she was driving home she hit a cat and felt extremely bad about it and actually went to the cat and began doing whatever it is that ' witch craft' does. Well she said the cat was dead when she got there and she did her little thing and the cat came back to life, She then told me the experience scared the living sh*t out of her and she never touched the stuff again.

Because they have an 'us or them' mentality. Since you're not with them, you're with the devil. It's their 'polite' way to tell you that you're going to hell and that they're better than you and that they have the One Whole Truth and you're just living a lie.
Christians suck like that. So do most groups of people for that matter though. *shrugs*

becuz they are paranoid. they dont believe in witch craft. tyes if they knew, if only they knew, they would give their lives to Jesus and stay under his protection from witches and wizards and demonic spirits. And just for the record there are no good witches, they are all bad. Anything that is not of God is of the devil. WHich is EVIL!

In my experience, it's the people who know a LOT about witchcraft that are the most cautious and recommend caution.

You answered the question yourself. They don't know; they just read only fairy tales and possibly slanderous propaganda, and therefore think it's bad.
