your end statement are at the base of all of the worlds religious issues.
"Are they unhappy with themselves?"
This statement presumes that someone who makes remarks that you find offensive, must be unnhappy. Why cant it be that they just dont believe what you believe.
"Are they unappreciative of thier existance?"
This is even worse. This assumes that because people think defferently from you are ignorant. Because if they believed what you believe, there is no way that they could not appericiate what you believe to be true.
You believe yourself superior. You are a bigot.

I have a tendency to apologize to GOD for statements that may seem blasphemous when I get angry and I curse before thinking. I don't really mean to speak against GOD, I mean to curse idiot who is pissing me off. So if I do mis-speak I correct myself, I think others have this problem too. If you think about it, almost all cursing phrases has something to do with GOD or Women, I do not think people in general TRY to be blasphemous. However I do believe that we need to TRY harder not to be. And to add to that I do not correct others when they mis-speak, they are adults and may do as they wish. It is not my responsibility to point out the sins of man, nor to judge them.

'Blasphemy' is a subjective concept and varies from culture to culture. Regardless of what is said, it ONLY effects the person hearing it, it does NOT effect anyone else. If there were a God, do you REALLY think He would be capable of 'taking offsense' or 'being insulted' or feeling 'dissed'?
Time to grow up, wake up, smell the coffee, get a life, and get a clue. Not neccessarily in that order.

Why shouldn't we? christians are welcome to bash their bibles, and make jokes about homosexuality, so, who will stop me from standing up for gay rights, and bashing jesus and a book that was written way before my time...?
