At the current time, most of the media is controlled by huge mega-corporations with a decidedly Republican bias. There are still hold-outs, (NY Times, Washington Post, etc.) but it's becoming more conservative every day. As for hollywood, the studios control hollywood, and again that means various corporations, some private, some public.
Now whats your point?
