(a) Do you do the Christian thing and turn your left cheek, to get hit some more ?
(b) Do cry like a baby and run to your mommy ?
(c) Do you stop being a wuss and fight back ?
(d) None of the above.

Now, assuming you picked (a) and turned your left cheek.
What do you do if you get hit on the left cheek ?

(a) Do you keep doing the Christian thing, turning your head left and right until it swells up like a water mellon ? Or

(b) Do you convert to another religion that will protect your face ?

Why do religious people think that their belief makes them nice, respecful giving people. I do not believe in any god or religion and I treat people with the courtesy they deserve and I am a nice guy even if I do say myself. There are lots of examples of fiendish so called religious people (percentage wise its probably worringly high) I say follow some common sense rules about what is right and wrong, we all have a capability to decide for ourselves. Outlaw religion, that would be a positive step. Agree?

I was on this site amazingfacts and they are saying that all the bible prophecys have been fulfilled, except the return of Jesus. Is this true?

First Prophecy-destruction of Jerusalem (70 AD)
Second Prophecy-Great persecution of tribulation (took place during the dark ages)
Third Prophecy-Sun turned to darkness (May 19th 1780) They say NO eclipse
Fourth Prophecy-The moon turned blood red (May 19th 1780)
Fifth Prophecy-Stars fall from Heaven (Nov.13th 1833) It lasted for four hours
Sixth Prophecy-Jesus' return, which has not been fulfilled

Is this true? And does anyone know where I can get historical facts on these events. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And please serious answers only.

It's worth reading or I wouldn't have put it on here: (Yes I know it's kinda long.)

During the Seventh Crusade, led by St. Louis, Yves le Breton reported how he once encountered an old woman who wandered down the street with a dish full of fire in her right hand and a bowl full of water in her left hand. Asked why she carried the two bowls, she answered that with the fire she would burn up Paradise until nothing remained of it, and with the water she would put out the fires of Hell until nothing remained of them: ''Because I want no one to do good in order to receive the reward of Paradise, or from fear of Hell; but solely out of love for God.'' Today, this properly Christian ethical stance survives mostly in atheism.

I was led to this site from the american website a few days ago, with someone bashing America, and of course there is the people who say they hate America and we are all fat... Well a few monthes ago, I was reading yahoo news and there was an article about how Europe was increasing in obesity at a high rate. I was curious about the comparison so I looked it up.

source: http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,600138503,00.html

In Britain, one in five children are overweight or obese, in Spain the figure rises to 30 percent, and in Italy, 36 percent. In the United States, roughly 30 percent of American children are overweight or obese, according to recent studies.

I admite Britains obesity rate is quite a bit lower, by 10%. But its kind of like a 250lb person calling a 300lb person fat. You guys have the problem too, so why do you use it as a reason to hate America? I know there are other reasons and I dont want to hear about them, because I already have and a lot I agree with.

i believe in god and have been saved and baptized. i sometimes pray and go to church, but I hate to see these christians who stand on the side of the road with signs and stuff(saying how "this is wrong blah blah"). sometimes i wonder if they are the real christians, and im not because i would never do or say anything like that.

im afraid that i might be wrong. and that believing and being saved isnt enough. does anyone get what im saying?

The recent find of a early human like ape from 3.3 million years ago adds to the undisputable truth the humans have evolved through time adapting to new environments and conditions. We have finds from 3.3 million yr ago, 2.5 million yrs ago and 1.2 million yrs ago showing consistant progress towards our current state. How and why would religious groups continue to dismiss the evolutionary theory with such a weight of evidence supprting it?

Now, I am NOT pro-suicide by any means, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Mental illness is a medical problem, caused by chemical imbalances in the brain...that is common knowledge. Do diabetics, or people with heart disease, renal problems, etc go to hell because of their various diseases?

I just think it's a terrible stress on the family of suicide victims to think that not only was their loved one tormented in life, but there is a good chance they are being tormented in their afterlife as well?

Any thoughts on this?

If we love our children unconditionally--how can our love be greater than God's when we are only human?

What I am saying is how can God be our father when he is supposedly going to send us to Hell for not doing one of more of his commandments?

Also, I can tell my children many many many times not to do something, but if they still do it--I do not disown them and condem them to eternal fire and punishment. SO-how can my love for my children be greater than God's love for us-if God is greater than us? AND SO WHY do we think that God would do it to us?

Can You Beat This Logic ?

A man and his wife were getting a divorce at a local court.
But the custody of their children posed a problem.

The mother jumped to her feet and protested to the judge that since she had brought the children into this world, she should retain custody of them.

The man also wanted custody of his children. The judge asked for his side of the story too. After a long moment of silence, the man rose chair and replied: "Judge, when I put a dollar into a vending machine, and a Pepsi
comes out, does the Pepsi belong to me or to the machine?"

Question ; Who won the case?
