Only one with absolute knowledge could claim that there is zero probability of something existing.

Since I am not possessed of absolute knowledge, I accept that there are circumstances beyond my comprehension.

A person can talk themselves into perceiving something is real and then it becomes real to them. For instance, if a guy goes bowling and makes several strikes; the next time he goes bowling he wears the same shirt to test it out and finds that he makes several more strikes....he's going to call that his "lucky shirt". People over the ages have build their own superstitions. Have you ever tried to prove their superstitions are wrong (for you)?

If there were only 10 religious people in the world, we'd look at religion as a the joke that it is. Unfortunately there is a huge amount of people who believe, so this large user group makes us feel it is okay to worship silly things. If you were the only kid in your class who believed in Santa, you'd feel pretty dumb. Now that you're older and are in the age group that knows better, you laugh at your initial belief. There are just too many people who believe for no reason other than believing. Their faith is equivalent to a virus.

Lies have been kept for very long historical times. How long was it till it was finally admitted that the earth is round and it goes round the sun? Well, a more zealously guarded lie as the God one can be kept going for much longer. There are many fortunes at stake.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question, but let me explain to you that people of faith believe as they do for just that reason. Faith. As a free person with independence of mind you may choose to believe whatever you like, including your religious preference. Let me hasten to say, you seldom find an atheist in an emergency room...Christians believe that they can follow the teachings of Jesus and be rewarded with eternal life. If we are wrong, we are no worse for having believed, if you are wrong you will suffer for eternity. It is your choice to believe as you will.

okay, anyone can say God is a superstitious myth, just like the Easter bunny, alot of our beliefs even about ourselves are socially constructed lies and someones core values are real because it is part of their identity and lifestyle so you really cannot say that they are not real or have no possibility of being real because reality is subjective

Faith is a matter of the heart and soul. We have to believe in concepts beyond our understanding or else the world would be overwhelming.
