I mean instead of this nonsence and especially the foolery on the personals wouldnt it be grand if yahoo did something revolutionary and provide a working positive service to matchmake some of the many lonely or least without someone special-people,especially in the alternative lifestlye?

Believe it or not, I know people who have used Yahoo Personals to make contact with other singles, both gay and straight. All of them have not only found satisfying relationships (even after trying many alternatives such as match.com and even eharmony), but one lady I know met the man of her dreams and they got married last year in central Indiana. And she was destined to be an "old maid," no kidding, so this was nothing short of a miracle.
Hang in there! There is still someone special for everyone out there and, most of all, hope still reigns supreme!

Absolutely not.

The whole point of venues like this is so we can have the occasional rant WITHOUT making it personal.

If I want to meet others up close and personal, I leave the computer at home and get out there to do it.

Hell yeah! Most of the sites I've been to were whack as ****! So one that actually works and not B.S. around would be great. Until then I'm quitting my search to find my first!

No, I don't think so. Friends and relatives can matchmake--and my wife and I are inveterate matchmakers--but I don't think a website or a busy webmaster can.

All I can suggest is build a website. I can't even find one that says we are a couple lookin for a couple. or a couple looking for a female. Good luck.
