Can You Beat This Logic ?

A man and his wife were getting a divorce at a local court.
But the custody of their children posed a problem.

The mother jumped to her feet and protested to the judge that since she had brought the children into this world, she should retain custody of them.

The man also wanted custody of his children. The judge asked for his side of the story too. After a long moment of silence, the man rose chair and replied: "Judge, when I put a dollar into a vending machine, and a Pepsi
comes out, does the Pepsi belong to me or to the machine?"

Joint custody never means equal custody though does it? It means 1 weekend in 2 for the Dad. The laws loaded in favour of the Mother. Especially since it's usually fathers who have to leave the family home when a marriage or relationship breaks down. Kind of unfair.

All depends on if the judge was a man or a woman.

The coin in the Pepsi machine would have gone down real well with a female judge dontcha think?

I think it would end up being joint custody.

The woman won the case!

Our justice system does not consider vending machines and human beings to be equals. The man lost the case for himself by using the Pepsi as having equal value to his child.

Since a child is not a can of soda the woman won since she was the last person to have possession of the child but the man will have to keep putting dollars in until the child is 18.

The Pepsi machine didn't have to go through physical changes in order to produce the can of soda, nor did it breast-feed the can and raise it into a bigger can.

Joint custody, baby.

The vending machine was there because it wants the dollar and not the pepsi.

The woman was not giving birth a child so that she can exchange for something else. The woman do wants the child.

So it is not the 100% comparion.

The woman will.

Every guy knows the wife still won.

Forget logic, sensibility, or being cute.

The woman always wins the argument, even if she has no counter point.

The real question is, was he sure it was his Pepsi and not someone else's Coke that came out (if you get my drift).

Answer: The mom won the case because the judge was not impressed by this comparison.

I'm sure all women love being thought of as "baby vending machines." Yeah, that sure is an air-tight case.

Blah.
