(a) Do you do the Christian thing and turn your left cheek, to get hit some more ?
(b) Do cry like a baby and run to your mommy ?
(c) Do you stop being a wuss and fight back ?
(d) None of the above.

Now, assuming you picked (a) and turned your left cheek.
What do you do if you get hit on the left cheek ?

(a) Do you keep doing the Christian thing, turning your head left and right until it swells up like a water mellon ? Or

(b) Do you convert to another religion that will protect your face ?

Why do so many people want to dissect that teaching by Jesus, didn't he prove he was serious when he allowed them to nail him to a cross? You should read the whole bible after you drop on your knees and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. I don't take my religion lightly or the teachings of my faith. I too would be tempted to strike back, but that is not what Jesus asks of me. He died for me, the least I can do is turn the other cheek.

You obviously have no idea what the Bible says. This statment means that you are not to seek revenge on others if they do you wrong. Forgive them, pray for them and let alone.

If someone wants to do wrong to me I usually pray for them and ignore them. If it's something really wrong like physical abuse, I call the police and let them handle it. If the person is spreading rumors about me I tell people what the truth is and move on with my life. I pray that you have some enlightment to the Holy Bible and stop making personal interpretations of certain verses. That's where lots of people come up with ignorant questions about the Christian faith.

are you talking in metaphors? if someone physically slap me for nothing , yes i would definitely slap them back. but if someone " slapped" me by insulting my beliefs i would likely turn the other cheek because these people are talking crap thus are not worth talking to. but it mostly depends on the degree of the insult. if it's too much and destructive for all, then yes i will get aggresive. it's more of a matter of doing what is dignified and plain common sense

Unless it is my true-upright, or suspected close associate, Pup bites on the tender flesh of the lower arm and then skirts 7-10 feet away to assess the situation.

With my right foot, I would stomp down on the bridge of his left foot. Grab both of his shoulders and pull down while I plant my knee upward into his chest. Then slide my left hand up to the side of his head, pull toward me while swinging my elbow against the left side of his skull. let go and drill him in the lower rib on his left side when he hits the ground. (shatters the bottom 3-4 ribs)

Now if they strike your left cheek, do the same as above, but substitute right for left and left for right!

Nowhere in the bible does it say that God wants me to be a b*tch!

This is a metaphor that was written in the bible, not to be taken litteraly, the idea is that we should love someone who persecutes us like Jesus was persecuted by the jews

I choose "D", after the person hit me i would get chest to chest with them and stare them dead in the eyes and say if you do that again i'll beat the **** out of you (just to give them fair warning). Then if they take another swing i would use everything around me to beat them till they were out cold.

and no one could it wasn't in self defence.

I turn the other cheek, and that is a metaphor, it doesn't mean someone actually hit me, it means if someone offends me.

d none of the above, tell them I don't like it and then if they don't stop i'll sue that dude/dudette........................

or I could just easily have the crying fit act and then get that person into HUGE trouble and then practically screw up their life. this would so work I'm just a kid!!

and easily I can fight back by.................................kicking their shins until they cry like a baby and run to their mommy
