I just walked outside and noticed two bright lights beaming into the air and was like what is that? and I realized that those were the lights representing where the towers once stood. I knew today was 9/11 but forgot that the city beams those lights... It's really sad to them but therapeutic as well. We have to be thankful for life always!

The notion of a best friend is ever so ubiquitous in our childhood, and even in high school. "Susan's my best friend, we do everything together," or "David's my best bud" are so popular, and I'm sure we all had a "best friend" at some point in our childhood. But what about in college, and beyond? Do you think the notion of a "best friend" should be changed? Maybe it's just that one best friend isn't enough, or that you find there's no such thing as a "best friend" in our older years, or that the term just doesn't apply to our lives anymore. What do you think?

This summer (2007) I turn 16 and my mom has been asking me what I want for my birthday. I know, she like to shop early, but I have not the slightest clue as to what I want. it seems like that is really not on the priority list, yea i know iraq and fighting is; but it's gross.
