You might think you want to say it literally in present progressive as in English. Spanish speakers think differently so you would say "Esta mañana camino a la escuela."

If it's a future action (plan):
"Esta mañana, me voy a ir a la escuela caminando."

If it's a present action:
"Estoy caminando a la escuela, esta mañana."

voy a ir a la escueala
