Try China town in any city that has one new york has to have one or two i know there is a Shao-Lin temple in NY but i don't know if it is just for kung fu look 4 the book The teachings of Buddha and start there

Where are you from? I know there are 2 in Woodstock NY. One of them is a Chinese, which I dont think they speak English, but the other is a Tibetan, where the Dalai Latma usually stays at when he's in the States.

I dont think religion with a basis is allowed to build a temple or place of worship in the U.S. ..but if you have made up religions like the Church of Scientology or that guy who married off children who is wanted right now....then that's different.
