The animals and plants that are alive today judging from the fossil record, represent only an estimated one-thousand of the species that were conquering the Earth in the past and most extinctions have been mass extinctions each one wiping out 70-90% of all species , creationists starting with Adam is where science and religion meet because when humanity went almost extinct 70 000 years ago , there was a man coming from Africa Adam that populated the planet again

Ancient prophesies have long spoken of a "Star-Child" - a creature that would fall from the Heavens to lead us. Now, with the Cruise baby, we literally have a child of a star. here in australia people learn to laugh at themselves very early. sometimes the humour in cracking a joke is not meant to be insulting, but just the aussie way of dealing with grief. i have only fond thoughts to think of steve, and i feel deeply for his family. i feel that if steve was looking down on us now, he would have nothing but his sense of humour to depart to us, the jokes are a way of coping, and certainly with no malicious intent. i am surprised at how literal some people can be! i was also surprised at how people viewed this question so wrongly. i have good intentions, but sense of humour please! i'm sure steve would have liked it.

i asked this of the non-believers and now i ask you.
why is it so hard for some (note i said some) believers
to just accept some one saying no thank you its just not for me when you try to "witness" to them and just move on?
why must some of the believers keep on about it when they have been clearly told that it isn't wanted?

In this instance, how can someone have faith in a relgion when it does not beleive the followers are good people to start with and are full of sin. I can't understand why one would want to follow a belief that keeps telling them how much they have "sinned". One would think would be damaging to ones self esteem and hold them back from doing the good they are suppose to do.
