You could start having little conversations with your self. Next step is to experience the culture,study the cuisine, the music and the art.Get a good feel and appreciation for the way the French live. once you learn french..any other language you wish to learn will be easy. just take a class. i've taken 3yrs in high school so far.

start by getting a french english translation book. second take a class. and third get a audio tape and listen to it. STUDY
