Does "pushin up daisies" mean a cemetary or a dead body? And what do "Pale Horse", and "curtains" mean?

Thank you!

<>All three are euphemisms for being dead or dying. Also:
Buy the farm (or bought the farm)
Kick the bucket
Shuffle off (...to Buffalo, ...this mortal coil)
Croak
Keel over

pushing up daisies literally means that the person is dead and in the ground... the daisies are usually referred to growing off the fertilizer that youre body basically becomes for the earth, although some mistake it for the flower that people throw on the body as it is being lowered into the ground. Pale Horse is a biblical reference to the description of the Angel 'Death' who is described as the rider on a Pale Horse. And curtains means that youre doomed. Like youre going to die and there is no way out. A popular phrase from some of the old movies done in the golden years was 'Looks like its curtains for you kid'. This symbolizes someone drawing the curtains on a wagon/hurst or wake to signal that the persons life as come to an end and reverence should be remembered. Hope this helped.~Quinn

The Pale Horse refers to the horse death rides in the Apocolypse.

Moving on
Into the abyss
dust unto dust
6 feet under
back to the earth

Curtains means "it's over" and could apply to something as significant as a life, or as trivial as a game of poker when someone turns over a straight flush after you've gone all in. the curtain has come down on whatever show you were watching.

pushing up daisies stands for a buried body... its pushing up daisies.

Curtains come from the final curtain, meaning to die.

Pale horse? No idea

How about kicking the bucket, going home, in heaven with the angels, left of the last plane out of here, sleeping with the fishes.
