now that father obrien is safely behind bars for molesting me as a child and others does that mean that when he took my confession it doesn't count cause he was not acting in gods interest and also when he made me swear on a bible I would never tell anyone on him or the other priests how many times they touched me and kissed my privates???

Just a little disclaimer to start. I want you to understand that i am not lashing out at you so please refrain from doing so with me. And also Christians please refrain from commenting on this question i dont want to confuse the matter. Please read all of this before commenting at all.

Ok ive been around on these boards for awhile now and ive come to notice a pattern. The ultimate question i want you to answer is this. Can you give me a logical reason Not to believe in a God? please do not use the Bible verses to try to do so because it doesnt work. There is nothing in the Bible that you can use for a Logical reason why God doesnt exist because by your reasoning the Bible is a myth and God doesnt exist so why use it as a resource to refute the existence of God? also please refrain from just saying "because he doesnt exist" this is the question not a logical answer and its too easy and shows a lack of your convictions. As an young adult(early 20s) is it OK to lie about something that is nobodies business but your own.

For example, if you have done something DUMB that will not affect anyone else but will only hurt yourself is it OK to lie about it when asked point blank in order to save yourself? By save yourself I mean from the LONG talk, disappointment, a lot of concern and answering a lot of embarassing questions.

What if it was the Pastor that you lied to? Does it make a differance who you lie to? Would it be best to confess that you lied? What if you still do not want to tell the truth? Could you just admit you lied and refuse to revisit the question?

I'm wondering this because a guy that hit and killed a young boy riding his bike (in a bike path) in this area yesterday was known in his trailer park as a chronic speeder.
It just sickens me the way so many people speed these days, gosh, I'm like in the fast lane at 70 MPH ( okay, a modest 5 mph over speed limit but I usually go 65 in the middle lane) and people are totally ZOOMING past me and looking all perturbed.

Christians are intolerant, exclusive, mean-spirited people that could not open their hearts or minds to save their lives. They forget key ideas and terminology from the bible like the concept of Agape and turning the other cheek.
