It's because it distorts the truth. It's supposedly "based on the 9/11 commission," but already there are many people who are saying they are misrepresented and misquoted.
The outgoing Clinton administration tried so hard to warn the incoming Bush administration of the danger al-Qaeada posed, the Republicans accused Clinton of being "obsessed with al-Qaeda." No Republican prior to the 9/11 attacks ever tried to stop al-Qaeda. But Clinton did, over Republican opposition.

The program that ABC is airing is filled with inaccuracies. It claims it was based on the 911 Commission findings but in reality it is very loosley based. Most of it was written to improve ratings and draw in viewers.
