As much as I'd like to paint a negative picture of the other side, not ALL members of a faith fall neatly into catagories. There are Christians that bother to read their holy book follow its precepts and those that don't. True, the majority falls into the former, but not all. Some of my best friends are Christians (I've been dying for years to use that line).
But I'm just an egocentric smartass. And an atheist.

If you put it that way, then I am inclined to agree with you. Why judge all Christians by the few that you have met? I'm very open minded. Yes, I think there are alot of unanswered questions in the Bible. No, I don't think we should take the whole Bible litterally. Yes, there are contradictions and things that just don't make sense in the Bible. But, isn't that true with every belief/theroy? Personally, I just believe that God created the world; Jesus died for our sins. No, you can't change me; just like I can't change you....Or an atheists. ;)

no Christians don't ,we are human, and just because a person becomes a christian doesn't mean as soon as they become one they know everything about everything there is to know about the Bible,or know how to control themselves,we have battle everyday to live the way we should, but as long as we are in a body,we will always be trying to overcome those intolerant,mean-spirited,and what ever else you all think we are,I pray everyday for forgiveness ,and dare you to try and live the life and see what we do,it a hard life if you are a true christian.

Christians are not intolerant, they fight openly to protect the rights to religious freedom that even you enjoy.
Christians established the hospital you were born in and the one you will die in.
Christians work incessantly to help everyone ever afflicted by disaster or disease or poverty.
Atheists don't do anything to help anybody.
And neither do you.
Your hate for Christianity is because of your envy, not because of what Christians do.

Nope, not a good question. Seems egocentric on your part, and seems more like a series of statements than a question.

But a key issue in spirituality isn't "Why does that guy over there suck" but whether or not you suck.

It just depends on the individual. In general I'd say both are fine as long as they don't shove their beliefs down my throat.

And you are very judgmental apparently....trying to start your own false religion?
