Good looks are often either accident of birth or an illusion where a woman (or man for that matter) has corrected themselves with make up/surgery etc etc

They are not therefore 'achieved' - yet despite this we as a society continue to revere the beautiful and deride those who through no fault of their own were not born naturally stunning etc

Is it biological in origin? Males looking for visual cues as the best mate etc? Or cultural?

I don't live there, I live in Kentucky. But I love Texas and would love to live there. Friendly people who still honor family values; culture and history; Texas pride; geographical diversity and natural beauty; large cities and charming small towns. Texas has at least a sample of everything the world has to offer, all within its boundaries.

To any left-wing loons who think that Texas is awful and full of nothing but Bush-supporting, oil-rigging redneck conservatives, you're wrong. Or, if you can't stand Texas just b/c of Bush, why? Just don't comment! I happen to strongly support Bush and I'm not against big oil, but Texas is so much more once you at least visit and see what is has. (Austin is a pretty liberal city, and Dallas and Houston have growing liberal communities--or communes, should I say. lol.)

They actually found that it was ICE he was walking on

http://www.fsu.edu/news/2006/04/04/ice.walk/

"A frozen patch floating on the surface of the small lake would have been difficult to distinguish from the unfrozen water surrounding it. The unfrozen water was comprised of the plumes resulting from salty springs situated along the lake's western shore in Tabgha—an area where many archeological findings related to Jesus have been documented.

"As natural scientists, we simply explain that unique freezing processes probably happened in that region only a handful of times during the last 12,000 years," Nof said.

But don't let the word "SCIENCE" scare you

If I was sick and asked you for money, would you donate it?

Would you still donate money to me if I wasn't a Christian?

Would the amount be different?

How much "MORE" would it be if I told you I would convert if I raised enough money for my surgery?

Fourth of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day are often celebrated by eating out of doors. Why is this? Why not eat out of doors anytime you want? Why not celebrate the holiday by eating somewhere else other than the dining room...like in your car, or in the bathroom? Why not do something else, other than eating, in an unusual place to celebrate? We could shower in the garage, or sleep on the lawn to celebrate.

My mother was a roman catholic and turned jehovas witness when I was 10. I abandoned that at 18 when I could. My husbands family are Salvation Army. I respect them a lot but dont want to be 'a religion'! How can we be christians without a denomination? I want to take them to church but don't know which one. Help please.

Isn't that reason enough to have it taught in schools?

If not shall we start one?

I'm thinking we can organise anti religion protests to coincide with religous demonstrations.

Everytime the fundies (christian, muslim, hindu, whatever) decide to try and preach ignorance on a street corner, or use their growing political influence to have something they find offensive changed or removed, we can be there as the voice of reason undermining their efforts.

If you know of such an organisation please post their address.

Please Note: I'm agnostic and believe everyone has the right to have faith in whatever they want, but if they decide to preach it to the masses then they should atleast be challenged in a responsible manner.

After reading the question; Do you take time to think about what you are going to reply, or just write what comes to mind. Is it to help the person or to accumulate some points? Are you avoiding to ask questions because it will cost you some points?... Do you post questions in order to get a debate going?..Do you know the answer to the question you post?

I believe it would be interesting to read your replies. Comme on you guys...Be truthful... This is not a contest.!

I know the term in this capitalized words does not work.
