I have been struggling when it comes to fasting, it seems as if everytime I decide to fast I end up eating or frustrated by something or doing something out of ordinary. Could any one of you help me out, tell me how to deal with the battles of the mind when I'm on a fasting period?

Fair enough if you believe he's the creator, but it doesn't make him human...

I just believe that he is the universe or nature, whatever you want to call it...

u know wats sad...is wen i leave here a greater imact has been made by the negative instead of the good. i am a christian and i think thats terrible. to fellow christians i just wanted to say....dont be afraid to stand up for wat u believe in. make an impact here and everywhere else in your life. change something, do something different, show the love of Christ, be a city on a hill. i dont know about all of u but im tired of....idk...but we can make a difference..."stand for wat is right even if u stand alone." please, lets make an impact....

I have a photocopy of a Torah portion I am doing for Rosh Hashanah. It's a really bad photocopy and I can barely read it. Does anyone have a site I can go to where it has the actual Hebrew text with vowels? It would be exceptionally helpful if said site had the actual text without vowels how it appears in the Torah. But it is not a necessity because in the old photocopy, it is the vowels I have trouble reading.

The deceased person's ba needs to be able to return to the corpse to be regenerated from time to time. If we have moved the bodies and the tomb furnishings into museums, then how can the ba find its way back to its corpse?

I have a guy friend that I've known for years..we've dated before but now we're just friends. Whenever we hang out we end up staying out very late and i live very far. I've slept over at this house a couple times.Once we kissed, and though he tried other stuff..I didn't let him...the other time, he also tried to start something but I again didn't let him. Now, whenver we stay out late, he'll make sure to drop me off home eventhough i live so damn far. He will do everything to avoid me to sleep over.What does this mean? We've kissed and he said we better remain as friends..but he gives me mixed signals like:I'm a good grl and he wants a good girl...and then he'll say he'll never introduce me to one of his friends because his friend and I would probably end up getting married. But he doesnt seem to want to get back with me. I don't get all this. He specifically told me we should just remain friends after we kissed.

My sister in law and brother are planning on having their baby baptised as is my sister this year. I am no longer in the Catholic faith and don't believe in baptising as a baby(they can't make their own decision). I don't preach my opinions and will go to be 'civil'.Do I get the babies a gift? If so what is appropriate?

I see so many people say there in heaven, or they went to hell.

Well until the second coming of Christ, and the day of Judgement, how can they/we be in either?

I thought the day of Judgement was just that, the day you got Judged.

between being homosexual other than your sexual preference? Why should this afford gays "rights"? Honest question.

While I have my own spiritual opinions of gays, I am not malicious or violent towards them. It is one's choice & priviledge to live as they choose.

But how can you equate a sexual preference to chinese eyes or black skin???

Well I have two friends who want to get married, they really dont go to church and would like me to marry them. I checked and its legal in most places to be ordained online (sorta like on Friends) so I did it. Now the problem is, Im still unable to find any particulars on this states requirements as far as registering myself etc. ANy idea?
