The worst I ever had was with my ex-girlfriend. I had been trying to get some sleep all day. When I finally did get to sleep, she called me and woke me up. I had an attitude with her for waking me up, and she got mad at me and hung up on me. I then got mad at her. But we made up later that day.

If life starts at conception, as the prolife movement states, then fertility clinics are probably the site of more "killing" than abortion clinics.

if you're not aware, a much larger number of embryos are fertilized than a couple can use in these clinics because of the high probability that they won't survive. And the leftovers are discarded. Even those "moral" people who refuse to have them discarded pay to keep their leftovers frozen forever... so even then the idea should be monstrous... keeping a "life" in suspended animation indefinitely (isn't death preferable to that anyway?)

to be blunt, one flush in a fertility clinic probably carries away a month's worth of appointments at an abortion clinic.

Why aren't fertility clinics protested against?

And don't tell me that none have ran, because there have. Which brings up another question, how come we never hear of the women candidates who are running for the presidency?

Have you ever thought about the words "Jesus Christ?"

When most people hear the words Jesus Christ, they think "Christ" is Jesus' last name. When reality we should say Jesus (the) Christ, because the word "Christ" accually means Messiah, the deliver of the jews.

Please leave input about the subject. Thank You!

Disclaimer: I'm an agnostic.

By change of mind, I mean changing religions, or changing voting patterns, going from feeling the solar system is geocentric to heliocentric, big life changes.

What factors contribute to your resistance to "change of mind"

Tattoos in very visible places, weird hair color, piercing in every opening none to man all look very badly to the outside world. In a perfect world people would not be judged by their appearance but that will never happen. All of the above make people think very badly of you and can hinder your chances in the future. I used to be a manager and company policy prohibited me from hiring anyone with visible tattoos more than two piercing and the had to be in the ears and no abnormal hair color. We paid more than our competitors and it barred many people from getting a job with us. Things like that happen everyday and I don’t think young people realize that when they get all this done to them. Why is that

The internet is one of the best research tools known to humankind. So, why would anybody ask a question here, if they can go to ask.com, Google, Yahoo, or any other search engine, to ask their question? I just don't get it. Maybe it's an interactive thing. Maybe people just want different viewpoints. Maybe I talk too much. Maybe the entire time spent here is just more fun. Either way, I'd still research my own questions, before or after getting the answer here. Wouldn't you? Do you?

a true christian does not believe in the death penalty.
a true christian does not believe in abortion.
a true christian told Bush not to do a pre-emptive strike on Iraq
a true christian told Bush it was not a just war
a true christian called for a cease fire at the U.N. between the people of the middle east

My local Bishop, wrote a very nice homily about immigration. How the people who come to America are our brothers and sisters. We need to love them and welcome them in. Not hate them and kick them out. They are not able to recieve the basics of life that they need in their country so they come here.

Having stated all these things, especially without noting that, almost all of these statements were made by a Pope along with many others.

In one of Bush's speeches he replaced the word Jesus with America, and used it to convince people to go to war.

Why do people confuse what America does with Christianity, just because they claim to be christians?

The word "Earth" (meaning the planet earth) is only relevant to those who come from earth. This word was created by mankind.
No species, animal or alien knows this word or the concept of this word outside of the realms of mankind. Say "Earth" to your cat and see what he says.

So would it be fair to say the same about the word "God" ??

The word "God" (one of the meanings from dictionary is "a supreme being according to some particular conception") God is only relevant to those who believe in god. This word was created by mankind.
No species, animal or alien knows this word or the concept of this word outside of the realms of mankind. Say "god" to your cat and see what he says.

Is this right? man, i just dont know...
