Sure. The US could take Earth, and the French could have Uranus. Finally, total world domination! I'm moving to Washington, North Korea.
Ahhh. If only the Nazis were a few decades later, they would have had an easier go of it.
Get real, the last thing we all need is interplanitary war or isolationism. We would have no need to pay attention to the environment or natural resources, and war would become survivalist instead of idealist. No, this wouldn't be good.

But to answer your question...? No, All the planets would just get their space programs into high gear and try to conquer other planets... It's something to do with the way we were created... We were made to have dominion, but because of the evil due to the Fall, that desire is out of balance like so many others within us...

Would not really make a difference since it would be just like only giving them More room because one planet would constantly be attacking another just like we are now constantly attacking other countries!

would be nice, but first we would have to figure out how to get over the reality that there are no habitable planets that we can get to. it would take longer than we live to reach one, if there are any...
